Seko Tools extends use of ComAround

12/14/2011

Seko Tools, which has started using ComAround Self Service™ for its Swedish and English-speaking users, has now opted to extend its use to a number of new markets.

Seko Tools rolled out web-based self service with ComAround to its users about a year ago, and now the new self service option covers both internal Seko Tools-specific questions and systems and general elements such as iPhone, the Office package and Lotus Notes from ComAround. After a successful startup and a good first year with high usage levels, the service is now being extended to also cover users who speak English, German, French and Italian.

"We introduced ComAround last autumn, and since then we have derived major benefits from being able to offer the service to our users. Now we are taking the next step and starting to offer region-specific guides in a number of languages," says Rickard Dahlberg, Manager IT Service Delivery at Seko Tools.

About Seko Tools
Seko's history is a real success story involving globalisation and high technology, where dedication to customers, innovation and multifaceted knowledge of cutting are key. The company is currently represented in more than 60 countries. Seko originated from Fagersta Bruks AB. Fagersta Bruk was founded in 1873, but its origins date all the back to the 17th century. Fagersta Bruk manufactured products such as steel wire, steel piping, gun barrels, springs for railway wagons – and hard metal products as well from 1932 onwards. Production was small-scale to start with, but new products were being launched regularly. One of these was named Seco, which means "I cut" in Latin.
